Adam:

Hey everybody, hey guys Just called out here, show you where we're, at we're not at home. This isn't snow, though, and we're going to talk about lots of different technology. One of them is this device. I'd love to show you what this is, because it's cold here.

Adam:

What is it? Oh, this is an electronic hand warmer. It comes with two. The other one's in my other pocket. I'm holding the phone right now. So yes, it is awesome. Check it out. You can get them on Amazon. Definitely going to use it this evening as we watch the green flash over in the sunset. You can see barely over there by Ronnie.

Ronnie:

We're not in south Texas.

Adam:

We are not there. But you know what? Why don't you come on this journey with us? Where are we at?

Ronnie:

I don't know.

Adam:

We're actually driving from Dustin Florida, Am I correct?

Ronnie:

That's correct 2 Orlando 2, 3 Highway something.

Adam:

Yeah, we're somewhere on some highway.

Ronnie:

Are you driving and talking yeah, or are you talking while you're driving?

Adam:

That I'm not sure, but I do know that in movies you never notice how they never look at the road.

Ronnie:

Your hands are on the steering wheel, dude. Oh, thank you, sorry about that. This is not a screen back here. That's not a screen. No, it is not.

Adam:

We're really driving Like in the movies, and that was part of the self-driving feature. It's really not self-driving, but it will stay in the lane for a long, long time and Kia tell you right, who's that, who's what?

Ronnie:

You lost me. There's a girl in our back. There's two girls in our back.

Adam:

No, so that is my wife Paige, back over here. Say hi Paige, hi Paige. And that is Ronnie's wife, tiffany. Say hi Tiffany, hi Tiffany.

Ronnie:

And they are back there. We tried to kick them out at the last rest stop but they wouldn't get out of the car. No, they wouldn't.

Adam:

So we need to make this video. We're going to make this video in small sections and talk about different products that we've, just if we have anything to talk about actually Like Alexa Plus. Alexa Plus. What's Alexa Plus? What is Alexa Plus? I don't know. I mean, it's a brand new. I knew it. What is it Tell them? So Alexa Plus is a Plus version of Alexa. I don't think that told us much. No, it didn't. We're not getting that much from the what we're looking up. It's going to be a paid version of Alexa.

Ronnie:

Why, why are they going to charge you for Alexa?

Adam:

I think, because it's going to have something similar to chat GPT.

Ronnie:

Oh, some AI going into it.

Adam:

AI is going into it. So I got invited to be to use their what do you call it? You say you tell Alexa let's chat and I'm sorry we're saying that word, but you can tell the Amazon Echo let's chat, and so then you can have a conversation style experience using AI to discuss certain things, but it's very limited. It does make mistakes, but you know you're when you get invited, you know to do something like that, you're expecting those things may happen, yeah, and it's very good. My, my granddaughter and my grandson my granddaughter actually carried on a conversation probably for about 20 minutes really, with yeah, and for me it's just quite different because you really don't know what to say. You know I don't really have anything Chat with her about and I'm not getting the feedback that you get from a normal person yet, or Life person, let's say. But I'm not downing it and maybe my problem that I just don't know what to talk to you. I don't know it, so maybe that's.

Ronnie:

I know they're working on it and I. Initially the Release date was gonna be June, late June. Right now they're maybe pushing it back because they're still working out. The kids Got it, got it. So I yeah, hey for Alexa.

Adam:

Yes, if you, if you want a hey, and I don't really want to pay either. But Look what. Look what's happened over time with the internet. I Mean we have lots of free stuff. Hulu in its day was free, and you know. Now we're, as things are coming about. What do you do with that? I mean, it's basically the Amazon. Echo is like what they used to call in the past the grocery stores a lost leader. You're gonna sell something so cheap to get people in the store to be able to buy other products, right, so you know it keeps everything. It's part of their service. But now what else are they gonna do with it? It's getting. It's getting better and better all the time. I used to home automation these pretty much exclusively, so you know we should do, but give away another one.

Adam:

We should give away another one, maybe on this show. We will give away another one On this, this episode. Really, we may do it. I actually brought one with me in a box.

Ronnie:

Yes, you didn't even know that. I didn't know that, had no idea.

Adam:

I mean maybe as I talk, it, yeah, so if you see that stuff up there Prior to the show, it should be in the, should be in the title, or we'll do it next week, hey, yeah. So the one of the other things I wanted to bring up, ronnie, was the one of the new products that Amazon has put out in the Amazon Echo environment is their home automation Control panel. That is going to be Release soon. It just hasn't been released yet. Maybe that's gonna get released about the same time, hope not. We're gonna call Echo Plus the A word. The Echo Plus Is gonna come out, but I hope that we come out sooner. I'm kind of excited to see what that will do, or if there's anything new to it. That's something coming. So, yeah, hey, and as we are, we're driving on the road.

Ronnie:

There's literally the Amazon warehouse right here.

Adam:

Yeah, you're gonna see it right there by Ronnie's head, we're gonna pass the Amazon's the film.

Ronnie:

It's there, right there, see. That is see the sign. We weren't lying.

Adam:

Yeah, that's hilarious, and it's a lonely FedEx truck Right there.

Ronnie:

Hey, have you heard about Apple's new thing? Apple's new thing, yeah, what is it? Apple vision actually, we've talked about Apple vision problem.

Adam:

Yeah, yes, I've heard about it.

Ronnie:

It's a hot subject we should talk about that. We should Okay. We made it. We're in Disney World somewhere. Where are we at? We're at Disney, hollywood Studios, hollywood Studios. Have you seen the new Vision Pro?

Adam:

well, only on, only on YouTube and Apple all right but, let's talk about it.

Ronnie:

Let's talk about it.

Adam:

So we're entering a Section of Hollywood Studios the brawnies never been to before, never been never been.

Ronnie:

What is it where we going?

Adam:

well, you'll see the transition as we go through very big tunnel and here we go. So those people who are listening, this tunnel is really interesting and we'll turn around as we get into it. Okay, ready for the turnaround, here we go. We are in Batu in Star Wars.

Ronnie:

Batu has in Star Wars Batu is in. Star Wars Batu technology here is insane, it's not even we're talking about you can just have a light speeds here light speeds, oh my goodness.

Adam:

Light speech you would never know.

Ronnie:

And we'll just keep this journey going probably can't listen to us on a podcast.

Adam:

You can't tell you definitely won't be able to tell unless you, under you, listen to these sounds. We'll give you a little sound break from us. See if it sounds like somewhere in Disney Hollywood. Well, that's about all we're gonna give you, otherwise, the podcasters oh, I got it but we did want to finish what we were talking about Apple Vision Pro, apple Vision Pro. So we're gonna buy Apple Vision Pro, pick a way. I'm gonna wait to see what it really really looks like. I would like to demo it. See something.

Ronnie:

I use a lot of money but it looks super cool, it is if you haven't seen the video, guys, you should go on the app video for it.

Adam:

Yeah, we're gonna supply a link in show notes of the podcast on the website and on the YouTube channel. Youtube channel is really the best place to see that like and subscribe and that's really the best way to see that, so we're gonna just go ahead and put a link there. And what does it start at $3,500, I think. I price it out as high as $4,000.

Ronnie:

I think it was $4,999 with all the other options probably getting to go higher than that and it's already sold out yes it's a hundred eight thousand units in like 40 days.

Adam:

Yeah, absolutely something. Something it was very, very quick. Yeah, back order. The release date is the second of February, I believe, so that's, that's really something that is gonna be interesting. I'm more interested in the side of it, where it could be used for my work as an integrator. I would love to be able to just sit there working on in front of the television. I mean, the computer could just sit there to couch and, realistically, you just sitting there I know I'm raising my hands up you sit there and move your hands like this tap. Yeah, I'm looking at ourselves on my Apple Watch right now, by the way.

Ronnie:

Yeah, is that we figured out? That's called Leap technology.

Adam:

It's hand-dressed, it's hand-dressed, which Leap is one of the companies. There's lots of companies out there. We make supplies to the showboys to talk up here to give you an idea of who makes it what they're doing. It will be really cool to see what they have or what's in there. I think the one you found was actually one that you can hook up to your own computer. Yeah, yeah, they have other technologies, so you don't necessarily need to do hand gestures just on the Apple Vision Pro.

Ronnie:

Yeah, so the Apple Vision Pro. You can just sit there and control the whole thing. I don't think I can see my hands right now, yeah, but at your lab level you can be controlling your computer gestures, zoom in and all kinds of stuff. That's amazing. You don't have to have them up high, like you were just doing up high. You don't have to do that because it's really at your side Well, not your side, but in front of you at your lab level.

Adam:

So let's go through some of the things you can do with it. Number one my interest would be using it at home. I could use it to connect to my iPad, watch a movie, watch TV, get a call from one of my contacts, one of my customers. I should be able to switch right over to one of my computers and remote into a PC as I'm talking to them, seeing what's around me, as it's over my face, as somebody walks through the room.

Ronnie:

Unlike other goggles, you can see what you see as far as the computer screen and still see through the goggles and see the room or the area you're in. Yes, you can see your surroundings there's several cameras.

Adam:

I mean they fall over the full lens. I mean inside, outside, it's looking to see what's happening. It could give you the best experience possible. You can move the screens around, kind of like if you've seen Iron man it's kind of that technology that they were showing, built into a visor or a goggles where you can move things around. If you're on an airplane. This would be another thing.

Adam:

I'd love to be able to be on an airplane and see a 110-inch screen, or whatever size they said, right in front of me, even though there's somebody you know within a foot of me. I feel like you'll see all that. Hear that, pause the movie, answer a phone call or text if they allow that phone call, but wherever I'm at, I can use that. So there'll be some really good things. It's going to be neat to be able to follow what is going to happen with that as the future comes about. I'm very excited to see that. Is it going to be for me or not? I don't know. If it looks like it will, we'll put it on the show and give you a section. That's all under Apple Vision Pro and all the things we can do.

Ronnie:

It'll be really neat. It looks really good. You guys can definitely check out what it's going to do. There's something else about that I want to mention. About that, to distract you.

Adam:

There's a lot of people walking by.

Adam:

So we're at Disney Hollywood Studios. You probably already heard we went into August Cantina and basically this is what I got from August Cantina yeah, thanks for being that not only offbeat, but in a little different way, so we don't get tagged on that for seeing what's happening. So, the other side to this, the Rancor, yes, this is really good. This is, you know, close for you to get. I got a ton of it that you have to talk to the people to be able to get them. So let me show you how many of the guys, as Ronnie is doing an intermission for a mask hero.

Ronnie:

Should I sing or dance? You can sing and dance. Or how about you guys can just watch the people behind us. I don't know what they're doing.

Adam:

I'm sure it's entertaining. I mean, I got a bunch here. I have a bunch of them, and that's because when you tip the people, good, it really works great. I told her about our podcast, gave her a pen.

Ronnie:

Gave her some in-period credits.

Adam:

Yeah, give her some credits the helicopter goes over Lovely.

Adam:

But the ladies in all the gear is yeah, it's very noisy here. Yeah, it's very noisy here. I think they can from the test program. Okay, but one of the things we're going to do while we're here is we're going to talk about the next On the next episode of the podcast convention. Oh cool, we are going to basically do a giveaway. What do we need to go with? I'm not sure you know what. Here it is Lipstick. Oh no, that's not it. That is definitely not it. But but I have something in here that we're going to add to the giveaway. Alright, this is the first piece.

Adam:

Bifaker 10. Bifaker Tech podcast 10. And An Amazon Echo. Now we're talking, now we're talking. So we're going to give another Amazon Echo. At the end of the podcast we'll talk about what we're going to do. There'll be in the YouTube notes You'll have to subscribe, like and comment on YouTube what you would like to see on our show. You know it really helps us know what to talk about. We are going to get to some of the other comments from the last giveaway and we're not only going to give away an Amazon Echo. We're going to throw some other stuff in there that is home automation stuff. So it could be a light bulb, it could be a couple more things. We'll just see what happens, depending how many people actually like and subscribe. So watch out for that. We're going to do that. Maybe one Amazon Echo, maybe two. We may go crazy. So We'll see what happens with that.

Adam:

But Back to the oh, this is cute. So when you go to Disney if you ever do and you don't have a magic band they give you this card. Basically, this is an NFC tag Built into the card so you can go, do things with it, you can pay with it. It's technology right here in the finn bar. You can use it to get in your room at Disney Hotel. You can get it around the locations, you can get into each part. It just depends what you purchase that is connected to this card, so there is some awesome technology when it comes to that. You can also add that to your Apple wallet, as well as a magic band, or get the magic band too, which I have right here.

Adam:

How you doing? What happened to my magic band too? I think it lost it Within an hour. This is a really cool lit up magic band too, which works with Alexa. I haven't even got a chance to work on it. It disappeared right off my arm. It is not as tight fitting as the regular magic band, so at one point it fell off and nobody's turned it in, so it's gone. It happens. It's one of those things, but we are here in Orlando for the podcast convention and we are definitely going to. The next episode is going to talk about the podcast convention, some other stuff that we have seen along the way. Got any other stuff? I don't think so. Nothing exciting. It's too distracting for all these people. It's very distracting, hopefully. I don't know how many minutes did we need. I got 11 minutes right here. We got to go further. Nope, we're done 11 minutes.

Ronnie:

11 minutes. We made it, are you sure? Yeah, we only had 9. I hope it was entertaining. I hope it was entertaining.

Adam:

Watching the people walk by was kind of an entertaining. As we go, though, we'll keep talking just a little bit and we'll show you some of the sights here at one of the streets, and Hollywood Studios and our wives are headed to the Tower of Terror. Yeah, it's the Hollywood Tower of Terror, so it's pretty cool. Oh, I'm asleep.

Adam:

And all of that is here at Hollywood Studios. It's actually pretty cool. So with that, I hope you enjoyed the show Until the next time. Goodbye, make your day. Thank you, gail, our server from August Cantina. We thought we'd show you the inside of Rise of the Resistance. Take a look. I really don't know.
